My quest for personal style follows a different path every day. One day I am in pink with flowers in my hair, the next I am rocking my best Joan Jett impersonation. Right now I am loving everything leather or distressed with chambrays and flannys tied around my waist, topped off with a baseball cap. Yes, this may be a seasonal trend I have caught a whiff of but that's where I am at the moment. Stay tuned for Summer where I will go through a stage of wearing only white and neutrals or maybe even a daring crop top phase - but that is highly unlikely.
One of the reasons I wanted to start a blog was to discover my 'personal style'. I am a firm believer in being comfortable in what you wear and above all, being confident in your own skin. Fashion does not work in you favour if you try to be someone you are not. So here are some images that I am inspired by, some current fashion trends that maybe I don't want to copy to the max, but would like to pull from and place into my "look", whatever that may be. After all, isn't that what style is about?
